You may remember that last month I was involved in the judging of a competition to find a design for a special limited edition bottle of Ribena that will be sold in Tesco this October. Well, here it is... the winning design as created by the Morley family from Bury in Lancashire. A real family effort.
This is the first time in the brand’s 75-year history that the public have been asked to redesign the bottle. The winning design was created by mum Lisa, daughters Hattie and Lulu & dad Richard. It beat over 140 entries to win this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The label features the Ribena berries jumping out of a gift-wrapped box. All of the judges, including celebrity mum Katy Hill, agreed that it made a great use of materials and really met the theme of "celebration" while embodying the character and tradition of Ribena.
