This recipe was inspired by one from Dora's Little Cooks Collection - the magazine featured a recipe for Stawberry Sundae and the magazine featured lots of fun games and stories all about strawberries and yoghurt. It came with a fab Dora mixing bowl and spoon.
As usual, Lara and I set to work in the kitchen with a little creative license and adapted the recipe to suit our mood. Lara loves blueberries and bananas so I thought this recipe might be a sneaky way of getting Lara to try some yoghurt (which she hates with a passion I really can't explain). It didn't work :-(
INGREDIENTS
One large adult handful of blueberries
One banana
One teaspoon caster sugar
3 heaped tablespoons of plain or fruit yoghurt (we used strawberry)

INGREDIENTS
One large adult handful of blueberries
One banana
One teaspoon caster sugar
3 heaped tablespoons of plain or fruit yoghurt (we used strawberry)
METHOD
- Chop the banana roughly and put in a bowl with the sugar and most of the blueberries
- Mash the fruit and sugar to release the juices. You can use a fork or a potato masher!
- Stir in the yoghurt and mix well
- Put into a sundae glass that looks far better than Lara's beaker! Garnish with the remaining fresh blueberries and then enjoy!
